With a dedicated head office team providing on-going support you will be given the training to develop a profitable window shutter business in an exciting and rewarding marketplace. Working alongside the UK’s market leader you will receive comprehensive training and support from the outset and with our advice and support coupled with your ongoing dedication you will be successful.

Franchisees will initially operate from home and be van based. We will train you in all aspects of the business. As sales volumes increase you may decide to move into a commercial unit or small office and employ a window shutter fitter or fitting team.

Shuttercraft offer a high quality product range, which requires the highest levels of service and are looking for franchisees who have the passion to deliver this level of service. On a practical note you will need to have the aptitude for measuring and installing window shutters and so this role is not for those who do not have at least a high level of DIY proficiency.

You will need the ability to manage the business on a day to day basis and maximise the opportunities in your designated local area. Managerial and sales experience, good interpersonal skills, computer literacy and the aptitude to meet our high professional standards is a must.

As long as you can satisfy the demand for our services in your area then the territory will remain yours. Successful franchisees receive a demographics report and utilising our extensive industry experience will be equipped with the tools and information to succeed – the rest is down to dedication and customer service.

Who we're looking for

Shuttercraft offer a high quality window shutter product range, which requires equally high levels of service from our franchisees. As a shuttercraft Franchise owner your role is to effectively manage the business on a day to day basis measuring and fitting shutters. Some practical experience would be beneficial together with the ability to fit shutters.

This includes sales promotion and business development activity, quoting for new work, surveying and installing the shuttercraft product range, building relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and growing the franchise, so that eventually another shutter fitter can be recruited and trained.

To succeed you need an eye for detail and a passion for excellent service. You must be a people person with good empathy towards clients and the inherent potential to become a quality craftsman.

Additional skills such as training, sales or marketing would also be an asset. Whilst you will initially carry out the installation work yourself, you can grow the business and eventually employ an installer to work with you on an employed or self-employed basis. We have proven systems that you can use to train your team and naturally we are happy to provide access to our own in house training schemes.
